Counselling 

A gentle self-discovery approach in a safe,  supportive and caring space. 

  • Heather will work alongside you in a safe and gentle space, increasing your self awareness and self understanding and together will develop strategies to deal with stressful situations more effectively, thereby decreasing anxiety in your life.

  • Drawing from a range of therapeutic approaches from different traditions, including LEGO® Based Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Buddhist Psychology, Heather works on building a solid foundation of coping strategies, enabling a client to better handle life's challenges and build emotional resilience for lasting change.

  • LEGO® Based Therapy, is for children and adults alike and was first pioneered by a neuropsychologist, Dr Dan LeGoff back in the '90's.

  • In a small group setting it provides a structured approach to helping a person develop life skills such as social communication, collaboration within a group, patience and understanding someone else's perspective.

  • In individual therapy, Mindfulness and LEGO® bricks, therapeutic practice is designed to help people who are struggling with varying levels of anxiety, stress and depression.
